Ecological Mitigation Works
As part of planned infrastructure developments AEMG works with highly skilled Ecology Teams who support the site clearance works via the following:
- Develop work methods to minimise disturbance
- Following the initial removal of vegetation and trees assess the potential habitats and develop mitigation plans
- Monitor all vegetation clearance works
Newt Fencing
Ecology teams complete a habitat survey and determine the mitigation for the species and habitats. The timing of this work is critical to avoid the beginning of hibernation which would delay work.

This operation removes vegetation and ecological mitigation works including the construction of badgers setts.
