Acorn Environmental Management Group Ltd is pleased to announce that we now comply with the requirements of the Cyber Essentials scheme.
Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed scheme that protects businesses against various cyber threats and attacks.
Working alongside IASME (the Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises Consortium), the Cyber Essentials helps you guard your business against a range of cyber threats from malware, phishing & DNS tunnelling, demonstrating your commitment to cyber security.
The certification provides peace of mind that our cyber defences are fully protected against the vast majority of the most common cyber-attacks. We have the right cyber essentials technical controls to prevent future attacks.
Gavin Martin, Business Development Director of Acorn Group, commented, “By having the Cyber Essentials reassures our customers that we have the correct measures and procedures in place. If we were to become susceptible to an attack, we’d be able to resolve the issue immediately. With new contracts in the pipeline, having cyber essentials in place aids our application process due to the handling of sensitive and personal information or providing certain technical products and services”.
