Our Senior Arboricultural Consultant recently completed a climbing inspection for Midland Heart Housing Association. The Oak tree had a large cavity in the main fork which extended over 30cm down into the trunk. Recommendations were made to complete a crown reduction to reduce the strain on the defective fork. This will enable the tree to be retained and continue to provide a wide range of benefits to the local area.
